AAI NR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters – Northern Region has released the AAI NR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification for the engagement of Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Through this recruitment drive, 133 apprenticeship vacancies will be filled across various airports and establishments in the Northern Region. Selected candidates will undergo one year of apprenticeship training and receive a monthly stipend as per government norms.

Domicile

Only Indian nationals who are domiciles of the following States/UTs are eligible:

• Chandigarh

• Delhi

• Haryana

• Himachal Pradesh

• Jammu & Kashmir

• Leh Ladakh

• Madhya Pradesh

• Punjab

• Rajasthan

• Uttar Pradesh

• Uttarakhand

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have obtained the required qualification from a recognized institution.

Graduate Apprentices

• Full-time BE/B.Tech (4 years) in the relevant engineering discipline

• OR BCA

• Recognized by AICTE

Diploma Apprentices

• Full-time 3-year Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline

• OR Diploma in Computer Application

ITI Trade Apprentices

• ITI / NCVT certificate in relevant trade such as:

  • Computer Operator Programming Assistant (COPA)

  • Steno

Year of Passing

Candidates who passed their Degree / Diploma / ITI in or after 2022 are eligible.

Selection Process

The selection for AAI NR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be conducted in the following stages:

1. Merit List Preparation

   • Based on percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

2. Tie-Breaking Rule

   • Candidate senior in age will be ranked higher.

   • If age is same, candidate with earlier passing year will be preferred.

3. Document Verification

   • Shortlisted candidates will be called through registered email.

4. Interview

   • Medical fitness certificate from a Government Medical Officer is required.
