Educational Qualification (Key Courses)

• B.Sc Nautical Science / B.Tech Marine Engineering

  • 10+2 with PCM (60% aggregate)

  • English: Minimum 50% (Class 10 or 12)

  • Unmarried status required

• DNS (Diploma in Nautical Science)

  • 10+2 with PCM (60%) and English 50%

  • OR relevant B.Sc / B.E / B.Tech qualification

• B.Tech Naval Architecture

  • 10+2 with PCM (60%) and English 50%

• BBA Programmes

  • 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate

• M.Tech

  • B.E/B.Tech with 55% aggregate

  • GATE / CUET-PG scores also accepted

• MBA

  • Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate

  • CAT / MAT / CMAT scores accepted

SC/ST candidates get 5% relaxation in aggregate marks (not applicable to English).

For DGS-approved courses (DNS, B.Sc NS, B.Tech Marine Engineering), candidates must meet medical standards prescribed by the Directorate General of Shipping, including eyesight and color vision norms.
