The Next Gen Scientists Foundation (NGSF) has officially invited applications for its NGSF Internship Program 2025-26. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

Educational Qualification

Applicant must be studying at an Indian institute and belong to one of the following categories:

  • 2nd year of a 3-year undergraduate program; OR

  • 2nd or 3rd year of a 4-year undergraduate program; OR

  • 1st year of a 2-year master’s program; OR

  • 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a 5-year integrated program

Discipline

  • Must be interested in Life Sciences.

  • Remote internships are allowed only in Computational Biology.

Key Conditions

  • Internship duration must be:

    • Minimum 56 days (2 months), OR

    • Minimum 84 days (3 months)

  • The internship must be conducted at an Indian institute outside the applicant’s own institute.

  • Applicants already receiving financial support (such as KVPY, INSA, or from the PI) are not eligible.

  • Internships requiring payment of fees are not supported.
