The Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), Bangalore, under the Ministry of Railways, has released Notification No. RWF/AT-16/627(2025-26) dated 28 February 2026 for engagement of 192 Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the training year 2025-26.

Eligible candidates can apply offline through Registered Post or Drop Box mode. The application process has started from 28 February 2026, and the last date to submit the application is 1 April 2026 (by 17:00 hrs).

Eligibility Criteria – Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed 10th Class or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board (as on 28.02.2026).

  • Must possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the respective trade issued by NCVT.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

  1. Merit list prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in 10th (minimum 50% aggregate).

  2. Merit list arranged in descending order of marks.

  3. Reservation applied as per rules.

  4. Tie-breaking criteria:

    • Older candidate preferred.

    • If age is same, candidate who passed 10th earlier will be preferred.
