Eligibility Criteria – Educational Qualification

Graduate Apprentice

• Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant disciplines:

  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

  • Computer Science Engineering (CSE)

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Civil Engineering

  • Information Technology (IT)

• Degree must be granted by a statutory University or Institution empowered by an Act of Parliament.

• Candidates must have passed in 2023, 2024, or 2025.

Technician (Diploma) Apprentice

• Diploma in Engineering or Technology in relevant disciplines:

  • DEE

  • DECE

  • DME

  • DCE

  • DCSE

• Diploma must be granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education.

• Candidates must have passed in 2023, 2024, or 2025.

Experience

• Candidates must not have undergone apprenticeship training previously.

• Candidates must not have job experience exceeding one year.

Ineligibility Conditions

Candidates are not eligible if they:

• Are awaiting final examination results.

• Are below 18 years of age.

• Have completed apprenticeship training earlier.

• Have more than one year of job experience.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through a merit-based process:

1. Merit list preparation based on marks obtained in qualifying examination (Degree/Diploma).

2. Candidates shortlisted for document verification in a ratio of 1:2.

3. Original document verification.

4. Final engagement based on merit order and acceptance of the apprenticeship contract on the NATS portal.
