Educational Qualification (General Subjects)

For Arts, Commerce, Humanities, Science, Social Sciences, Education, Languages, Law, Library Science, Physical Education & Journalism and Mass Communication:

• Consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks at Master’s Degree level in the concerned/relevant/allied subject.

• Must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar test like SLET/SET.

• Ph.D. holders are exempted from NET/SLET/SET as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016.

Educational Qualification (Music, Performing & Visual Arts)

Option 1:

• 55% marks at Master’s Degree level + NET/SLET/SET.

Option 2:

• Traditional/professional artist with highly commendable professional achievement fulfilling prescribed conditions.
