Eligibility Criteria
Primary Teacher (Class 1–5)
- Bachelor’s degree from NCTE-recognized institution
- Teacher training qualification (BTC / B.El.Ed / equivalent)
- Minimum 50% marks (as applicable)
- Final year candidates are also eligible
Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6–8)
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% in some cases)
- B.Ed / BTC / B.El.Ed or equivalent qualification
- Special education candidates from RCI-recognized institutes eligible
- 4-year integrated teaching program candidates (in some cases)
- Final year candidates are eligible
